Schmidt-Kupplung®
Schmidt-Kupplung® Our classic for extreme parallel offset: the Schmidt-Kupplung is a compact, torsionally stiff performance shaft coupling and compensates variable parallel shaft offset without side loads in a very compact envelope. The Schmidt-Kupplung is the ideal precision component for small envelopes.

 

Controlflex
Controlflex Controlflex is ideal for encoder coupling. It is compact, electrical insulation and high precision, and has excellent sports properties. Its modular structure makes it possible to achieve all the combinations of drilling inventory.
Semiflex
Semiflex Semiflex high torsional stiffness, precision couplings, torque can be passed from one axis to another axis, for due to manufacturing tolerances, assembly errors, can not guarantee wear or operational details of the case-axis adjustment. All types of shaft eccentricity difference can be recognized by the Semiflex designed to be mediation.
Loewe® GK
Loewe® GK The coupling with axial loading capacity. Its very high axial stiffness makes it also ideal as a linear coupling for precise transmission of purely linear push and pull loads.

History

22.April 1965
Richard Schmidt and Walter Haarmann establish SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG GmbH in the German town of Wolfenbüttel.While theoretician and designer Richard Schmidt called the idea to life and led the subsequent technical development.Walter Haarmann contributed his management and sales expertise, and with it the capability to market new technical products. This partnership proved to be highly fruitful.

June 1966
The first Schmidt-Kupplung – model NSSD 9.7.7 – is sold.

April 1972
Acceptance of a licence for universal joints.

April 1976
Delivery of the 10,000th Schmidt-Kupplung.

March 1980
Delivery of the 20,000th Schmidt-Kupplung.

August 1980
Acquisition of the licence for a further coupling system developed by Richard Schmidt: The "Controlflex", a precise shaft coupling and designed especially for the requirements of shaft encoders.
July 1988Delivery of the 20,000th Controlflex.

November 1988
Delivery of the 10,000th Semiflex.

April 2002
Introduction of the product range Loewe GK, a coupling with high axial stiffness.
